Are you struggling to find the time to actually get down to applying for MUR Accreditation?

Are you a little put off by the questions that are being asked?

Are you not sure it’s really worth the effort?

Are you letting the government get away with retaining 300 million pounds from community pharmacy?

Then you need to come to one of our MUR Accreditation Courses.

Here we will show you the best way to pass the exam:

a)   How to deal with the various questions set.

b)   An in depth analysis of the problems.

c)   How to conduct the interview so you get the answers you need.

d)   What facts and figures will be most useful to you.

e)   What to record.

f)    How to decide what advice to give.

By the end of the day, you will be able to pass the accreditation, feel confident about running a successful MUR, know how to complete a care plan and save the NHS money.

What you will do at the workshop

On this seminar we will take you through the 5 cases of the Medway course. You will get a chance to practise running an MUR in your head as though these patients had come into your pharmacy. We will go over each case in detail and discuss the various points that could be adjusted and put on your action plan.

Course Completed on the Day

After a light lunch you will fill in your overview sheets and we will stay with you till they are complete. The idea is that, as you are busy people, you get the whole thing done and dusted so all you have to do is send it off to Medway to get it marked.

Some Practical Suggestions on Running MURs the PCT way.

However the accreditation courses are very much clinically orientated and in many cases this is not what GPs, PCTs or SHAs are looking for. So we also discuss what they think an MUR should be and the questions you might want to ask about medicine use.

CPD

This course will provide you with 6 hours towards your CPD requirement of 30 hours.
