The aim of this company is to provide head office facilities to you, the independent contractor who are trying so hard to deal with the ever expanding work load created partly by the pharmacy contractual framework of 2005. As we owned a small group of 7 pharmacies for some 20 years we have faced many of the problems now besetting you but now we at last have the luxury of time to develop solutions that will save you time and money. Many of you work alone so we also try to be there as a sounding board for ideas you may have or to suggest solutions to situations you are struggling with. Lisa, our office manager, is 26 and she has been with us for over 4 years now. She follows up the letters you have received, checking that they have arrived and seeing if you have any questions about them. She also deals with your orders, especially the practice leaflet and pharmacy customer newsletter, and tries her best to ensure you receive them promptly. Lisa has recently bought her own house with her partner and they now have two cats, Holly and Ivy. |

Edd is the twin brother of Lisa’s long term partner and has been with us about 30 months now. He works mainly from home summarising all the patient surveys you send us. We are always impressed at how quickly, accurately and thoroughly he does them. He also helps out with IT problems and making products if the others are a bit rushed. |

Stef is 21 and has been with us over 2 years She is engaged to Lisa’s cousin. Always useful to keep it in the family! Like Lisa, Stef knew nothing about community pharmacy and the contract when she started but has picked up the basics very quickly we think you’ll all agree. She also follows the mailings that you regularly receive from us and works on the paperwork. Stef had her first baby in October 2010, a son called Riley. She will be returning part time at the end of June |

Jan is our latest recruit and though a little older than others has settled in well. Her main responsibility is working through the CPD course bookings and ensuring everybody gets their confirmations in time. Jan is married with a 22 year old step son and 11 year old son called Connor. At the moment she works part time but may become full time once Connor moves onto senior school. |
